I am Thankful we were able to fly to KY instead of drive and that Bradley had her own seat both ways.
I am Thankful that Frank changed 98% of the poopy diapers so I could get a break from the vomit inducing smell.
I am Thankful for my mom who cooked and cleaned and filled up our glasses to keep us in a constant state of "stuffed."
I am Thankful for my dad who tolerated the loss of the remote to girlie movies and who spent three days putting together a swing set for all of our little people during the visit.
I am Thankful for the little footprints tucked away in a box that will always remind me of how the Lord has been faithful to carry me through darkness and uncertainty.
I am Thankful for more time with Grandpa Fred and pray he will continue to have good health to see his grandchildren double by spring.
I am Thankful that six years ago, I said "yes" to my best friend.

First Trick-or-Treating...
It was a great night to get out and meet/chat with our new neighbors and for "Bradley" to get her first round of Halloween loot. Her buddy Nathan came by to share in the fun until his puppy paws got tired and he had to head home.
Pumpkin Picking...
After several failed attempts at getting to a pumpkin field, we finally made it to College Run Farm to pick pumpkins. Yesterday. It was a perfect afternoon to take the ferry to Surry--Bradley seemed to enjoy the seagulls and the breeze.
This is where the photos end--Despite the idyllic images I had photographed in my mind on this trip to pumpkin glory, B fell asleep in the car and Frank and I ate pumpkin ice cream in the gravel parking lot about three feet from our sleeping beauty. I picked out my family of pumpkins from the "already picked" section in the farm barn. It wasn't quite the afternoon that I had envisioned, but the ice cream was delicious and I didn't have to get my shoes dirty tramping through the fields.

Eleven Months...
At eleven months Bradley is walking, talking, and sharing. Well...taking a few steps here and there; speaking a language that has yet to be translated; and giving, taking, giving again, and taking back. She has also learned the 'uh oh' game. Such. a. fun. game. I love love love hearing her giggle. So does she.
The bow is clinging to about four strands of hair...but it's in!
Smells like almond butter--Looks like avocado and peas. Gross.
Daddy is hilarious.
Aside from moving...
Over the last month we have--closed on a house--gone through 20+ gallons of paint--celebrated the birth of my sister's 4th baby-- taken Bradley to the hospital for x-rays-- packed--taken Bradley to get a cast for a fractured wrist-- packed--cleaned and packed--ordered take-out--painted the new house--packed--met with the siding guy, bug guy, cable guy, and Lowe's paint guy--MOVED--unpacked--ordered more take-out, napped, and recovered.
Most of that probably didn't compute, but I bet you caught the part about Bradley's fractured wrist. Yes, she fell... She's pretty mobile these days but took a tumble and landed just right...errr wrong.

Don't let her fool you...she's in a lot of pain. (Ha)
