My Lovey...

January has been quite an unproductive month.  I have gotten in a few sessions (*2) working out with Gilad on FitTV, made some killer beef stroganoff,  and kind of caught up with laundry, but most everything else is in disarray--the kitchen, bathrooms, mail mountains, my waist-line...not to mention the yard, garage, and Christmas decorations stillll shining.  Even though I have a to-do list eight pages deep, I love every smile and bounce, gurp and giggle that distracts me from it all.  She is truly a Joy!

Camera lights, flashes, and beeps--Oh my.

It's hard to get her to smile if I am looking through the camera lens--so I have to sacrifice my aim.

Lesson learned...

Should have strapped her in--Fortunately the swing is very low to the ground.

Have I got a surprise for you!...

You can't come back from this.

This might take bleach.  And...a bath.

Clean. Clean. Clean.

4 months.  13 lbs.

Oh the places you will go.
Yes...I am a hypocrite.  This was a post explicitly about poop.  It's my world--I just had to share.

Sleep Strike...

Bradley has always been a great sleeper, and for that, I am so thankful!  But...recently... Little Bit has been growing growing growing.  She has learned to roll over, bat at her toys, and motor-boat her paci out when she knows it's nap time (or bed time); therefore, she has been a bit cranky pants about the routine we have been working hard to establish.  I am trying to cope.

Bradley normally sleeps on her belly.  I wrap her up, flip her over, and force a snuggle with the duck.

But lately...
She power kicks out of the swaddle, cries, spits out her paci, and cries some more.  When I cave, this is what I find. How can I be mad?

Nap time?  Whuuuht?

Holiday Guest(S)

I wrote a whole long bit about the holidays and blah blah, but I accidentally deleted it.  So, in my frustration, this is all you get.
Merry Christmas to us.

Christmas Eve

Grandpa Fred gave Bradley a recordable Hallmark book for Christmas.  It is such a precious gift that she will enjoy for many years to come!

Just a few of the 14 nieces and nephews on the Sandlin side that came to a post-Christmas dinner.  Poor Finn was recovering from the ick.
