Life as a house...

Almost six years ago Frank proposed in an empty house. There was nothing more than a few boxes, a couple suitcases, and a lonely curtain rod.  Over the years, we've painted the walls, changed every fixture, learned to tile and lay flooring, and replaced *just about everything that needed to be replaced and/or fixed.  We MacGyvered our way out of many DIY situations gone bad.  But...when it comes down to it, we made the house a home--we created sincere friendships with our neighbors and started our family here--we built a life together.  Over the last few weeks, we've taken down pictures, peeled back the layers and years, and handed over the keys of an empty house to a young newlywed couple looking to make our house their home.  It has been a bitter-sweet transition, but we've packed up our memories and MOVED a few miles down the road.
            Welcome Home

We'll leave the light on for you...
